This course reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in providing services for the entertainment industry.
Students learn about all aspects of live performances and events, lighting, audio, props, sets, staging and vision systems.
Work experience in Year 11 is off campus and involves students working collaboratively in a production company creating, editing and streaming a Podcast. Students broadcasting skills include: content creation, script writing, presenting, recording, editing and polishing for final broadcast.
Our Entertainment students get many wonderful opportunities to develop their skills hands on through becoming the backbone of all performance events at the school. The students assist with audio set ups, sound checks, lighting design, vision design and all aspects of staging.

Screen and Media
The Screen and Media Course is a two year Certificate III course offered in Year 11 and 12. Students gain the skills needed to kick start their career in the screen and media industry. Students gain hands-on experience to work in interactive digital media, film and television, radio, lighting and sound, content creation and technical broadcasting environments.
In this course you will learn the basic skills and knowledge for work in skilled assistant or skilled assistant operator roles in the screen, media and entertainment industries. It applies to work in interactive digital media, film and television, radio, lighting and sound, content creation and technical broadcasting environments.
Our Screen and Media students get extra hands on experience through their involvement with setting up for SECTV and contributing to filming and editing of school events.
